Study Buddy Fun!

What is a cat that is orange with boots and a sword? Puss and Boots! That's right! With our study buddies we went to a play
about Puss and Boots! The play was the inside story of Puss in Boots! We did that 2 weeks ago. This week we will draw ocean cretures on Pixie. Our buddies have a unit on ocean creatures. For instance, someone could put in a sunset red octopus. And someone could put in an ogre-ugly fish. To sum up, we did this with our buddies to strengthen our freindship with our buddies.

Is That our Study Buddies

Guess what? We have worked with our study buddies on shapes. We went on the computer & went to M.S. shapes & played shape games. We all learned all sorts of shapes like trapizoids,hexogons, & triangles. Today we are going on pixie
and working on frog & toad friendship stuff. This will help us be friends & do more things together. All in all
study buddies are the best & we all have GOOD TIMES.

The Great Relief

It was a mad house in mrs.Snyder's class with study buddies and relief maps.First,relief maps are models of land forms like hills,lakes,rivers,and mountains.Our study buddies started to build their map after they thoght of some land forms they wanted.Last,we let the maps out to dry.Our study buddies will paint them after spring break.Your probably are wondering why we did the relief maps.after spring break 4th grade will make relief maps of Colorado's geographic forms.All in all we have and will do a lots of relief maps.

In study buddies we celebrated Dr.Seuss's birthday and made big shape murals. Today we made shape murals by decorating with 2-D shapes. Is'nt it cool that we as 4th graders are studying 3-D shapes and they are studying 2-D shapes? Last week, we plaed on a game cald Seussville. We played games such as: Catch a thing, Grinch grow you'r heart game, and other awesome games. Oh! It's time for studiebudies. see you next week.

A Surprise With Our Studdy Buddies

As we walked into Mrs.Snyder's kindergarden classroom there was a wad of kids sitting on the rainbow carpet waiting to see us.
Every Friday, we do studdy buddies. This time we are doing chinese paper lanterns. This will help us grow to know our studdy buddies,and develope a bond between us.That's all for today folks!!! See you next Friday!

Last week we satith our study buddies worked on paper tearring to make a picture of "Snowmen Playing at Night."The rule was you couldn't use crayon or scisors.This week we made a little town..Then they glued the building on a big peice of paper.We had fun the past couple of weeks.

The Perfect Autobioghapheeeeeeeeeeeeeez!:(
We are helping our studdy buddies get perfect autobioghaphies.We are teaching our studdy buddies to type(althogh most of them are not doing that yet)draw,and use stickers in pixie. They are learning to use technology and about their autobiaghraphies.This helps them in the real world by teaching them to use technology.This is a great way to teach and connect with our buddies.

We are helping the kindergartners make a autobiography.The first one is family,where I live, my favorite book, and I am a expert.On Thursday, December 17 th, our 4th grade class will be working with our kinders.With them we will make gingerbread houses.WE NEED one shoe box lid, one can of white frosting , two packages of gramcrackers (about 10).WE NEED THEM ON WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 16th!

Scarows Don't Scare Me!
Hey! Read this, or my scarecrow will scare you! We are doing pixi (on computer.) with our study buddies.
It was fancieful!!! We made scarecrows, and made this template. " My scarecrow scares a ___ but it doesn't scare me!"
We drew a picture of a scarecrow and what it is scaring. We do this so in the future we both know how to use technology. See ya!!

The room was full of laughter when we were making our puppets for the puppet show. We were making a play on Johnny Appleseed. We were learning about Johnny Appleseed because the kindergarteners are doing a unit on apples. We were having fun cutting and glueing our paper people. When we were done working we helped our study buddies read their books. That's what made the day fun!

You could hear the clicking sound of the 4th graders and kindergarteners as they worked on the computers on Friday. They worked and worked on their ABC books on Pixie, a computer program. Each pair were assigned a letter. We named and drew two things that started with our letter. It was a great time!

We had a blast! We started off decorating our study buddy's boxes. The kids got to pick their color of box. We decorated the box with stickers. Once we were done they got their color books and they read them to us. Then we left and the kindergarteners were sad that we had to leave, but excited about next time!

In Mrs. Snyder’s class we made friendship fish with our buddies. Our buddies cut, pasted, and colored as we wrote down what we thought friendship meant. After that we had our buddies read a book to us. After that it was time to go. We had fun making friendship fish!

The room was scurrying with students as we helped Mrs. Snyder's kindergarten class make paper cutouts of themselves. The intelligence in the room was as firey as a dragon's breath. The kindergarteners were excitedly decorating paper faces and clothes. We left them with enormous smiles on their faces.
